About me
I’m an actor, model, film-maker, and techie based in Western Canada (Yukon & Vancouver).
I have been working professionally in the film / modelling industry since July 2024 and have been featured in both local and nationally airing commercials (stills & film), short films, and even an international campaign for a boutique fashion brand.
Being a film-maker myself (capturing stories on film since I was 8-years-old), working in this industry just feels so natural to me. I absolutely love how fulfilling it feels to help an artist bring their creative vision to life.
Tech Work
To create a financially stable platform to allow me to pursue whatever I wanted later-on in life, I started my professional career as a Software Engineer in 2016.
Over my 8+ years of experience as an engineer in both government and startups, I eventually became a "technical generalist" instead of just an engineer. From building a DevOps pipeline to acting as a client facing Solutions Architect (due to my high technical competency mixed with my strong communication skills), I was the resource they could put on the job.
Do I still do tech now? Yes! But primarily contract work - I still enjoy technical work, but prefer to work on a contract basis to give me the flexibility to pursue other interests.
